Telangana NEET UG Counselling 2026

Telangana NEET UG Counselling will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) for MBBS and BDS admissions. The counselling process is carried out completely online through the official admission portal. Only candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2026 and comply with eligibility rules can participate in state counselling.

The counselling procedure consists of 4 main rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. All seats including state quota seats, convener quota seats, and management quota seats are allocated through this process.

Counselling Timeline & Rounds

Round 1

Initial seat allotment based on NEET rank, category, and candidate preferences. Candidates must report to allotted college within deadline.

Round 2

Candidates who didn't get seats or want upgradation can participate. Choice filling for upgradation happens in this round.

Mop-Up Round

Vacant seats after Round 1 and Round 2 are allocated in this round. Candidates can fill new choices for remaining seats.

Stray Vacancy Round

Final round for filling any remaining vacant seats. This is typically the last opportunity to secure admission.
