Everything You Need To Know Before You Apply

English Without IELTS

A lot of universities don't ask for IELTS or TOEFL scores, but you still need to prove you can speak English — usually through a quick online interview lasting 10 to 15 minutes focused on your communication skills. Some universities will still want to see IELTS or TOEFL scores, so be ready to show you're comfortable with English.

Part-Time Work

International students can work part-time in Spain — up to 30 hours a week. You can expect to earn around €8 to €10 an hour, which helps cover your living expenses and gives you some work experience on the side.

Internship Opportunities

Spain offers lots of internship opportunities, including options with major international companies. Many university programs are career-focused, so you'll get hands-on experience through real-world projects and internships.

Two Main Intakes

Spring intake starts in January or February with applications closing by October 31, and Fall intake starts in September or October with applications closing by July 31. Deadlines can vary, though, so check your chosen university.

Entry Requirements

Most universities expect you to study in English (sometimes with IELTS, sometimes just an interview), show good English communication skills, and have at least 55% marks in your previous studies. The GMAT is rarely required.

Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for bachelor's degrees usually run between €5,000 and €10,000 per year. Master's programs are a bit higher — usually €8,000 to €10,000. Costs vary depending on the university, the program, and the city.
